Welcome to my site! I'm Daniel, a software engineering student
at Drexel University working towards my Batchelor of Software
Engineering degree & cybersecurity minor. My main focus is on
software, although I also enjoy systems administration and
hardware projects.
I'm passionate about building reliable, maintainable software
that solves real problems. Feel free to explore my experience,
projects, and skills below!
I enjoy building practical, reliable software and the tooling that keeps it healthy. My interests include full-stack development, test automation, and systems work.
I worked on an XCUITest end-to-end suite for a privacy-focused steganographic messaging app, covering around 90 tests across 6 flows. Along the way, I created actionable Jira tickets with repro steps, logs, and severity labels so developers could pick up issues quickly and we could ship with more confidence.
Identified and reported three critical security issues to software publishers, contributing fixes and mitigation strategies that:
I've designed, developed, hosted, and maintained multiple bots for the Discord platform serving 100k+ members across many communities. I've created many essential features for server owners, before Discord themselves.
Hardware device for encrypted credential storage/retrieval on RFID cards. Built with Arduino, C++, and 3D modeling/printing; delivered a functional prototype in 24 hours.
My highschool computer science club's website.
I enjoy capturing moments and exploring creative compositions through photography.
I'm interested in hardware hacking, exploring the inner workings of electronic devices and finding innovative ways to modify, repair, or enhance their functionality. I also enjoy getting hardware to do things it wasn't originally designed to do.
